What are the Shoeboxes and how do I get them?

Shoeboxes are special reward caches that give you Puzzle Pieces for unlocking new crops and permanently upgrading existing crops’ rarity tiers for more profit. Gosh darn it sounds good!

To unlock Shoeboxes, you must plant a crop on the 9th plot. 
After this point, you can open Shoeboxes whenever you receive them, including all of the Shoeboxes you've been rewarded thus far. Nothing is lost, Farmer!

You can get Shoeboxes in various ways:

• Swiping the crops when collecting money/harvesting.

• Watching an ad to use the Sun / Rain Cloud.

• Exchanging free in-game gifts with friends.

• Logging in daily to unlock rewards from the Daily Rewards calendar.

• Buying them from the Shop with Gems.

With Shoeboxes you can receive Common, Uncommon, Rare and Legendary Crops.
