I have all the puzzle pieces but my crop is not upgrading?

It can be hard, if not impossible to see the background colour of some of the puzzle tiles, especially the middle ones.

Since patch 1.11.4 you can see the amount of puzzle pieces you've collected and how many you need to upgrade the crop to the next level.
